According to CDC, Center for Disease Control, healthy kids are better learners.

Researches confirm that students do have better achievements in school when they are emotionally and physically healthy; they miss fewer classes, concentrate more and achieve higher test scores.

The school as an institution is a microcosm of society where students spend much of their developmental years. That’s why schools can play a key role in promoting and protecting the health and well-being of our children and youth.

So, an investment in the health and education of today’s children and young people is the ultimate investment for the future.

Thus, the school health program’s major goals are to enable all students to achieve and maintain an optimal state of health and well-being, reach their full academic potential, and develop into healthy productive adults who can take personal responsibility for their own health.
